speed up the start up and shut down on windows

Start up and shut down is usually time consuming. When not in a hurry, it would not be a problem. But sometimes when there is an urgent case waiting time start up or shut down is unsettling. Here's how to cope with it speed up start up and shut down your computer.


Speed up start up:
1. click start, type Msconfig in the search box enter or continue in the RUN type in Msconfig and ok
2. then will appear in system configuration, select the boot.
3. click Advanced options option
4. BOOT on the Windows advance options, select the Number Of Processors, then choose between 2 or 4. Things to note are the least processornya is a dual core, quad core, core2duo, i3, i5, i7, and others.
5. click ok and you're done.

Speed up shutdown:
1. almost the same way above. Click start, type regedit in the search box, hit enter or it could be in RUN type regedit on ok.
2. registry editor will appear.
3. go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SYSTEM – Current Control Set-Control, The choice of Control. .. Click Contolnya not existing in a click images segitiganya.
4. Will appear the words WaitToKillServiceTimeout, continues to double click.
5. change the number, the default is 12000 means equal to 12 seconds. Switch between 10000-7000 if I 10000. Just a note, the number should not be too small, because it forces your computer.

6. complete.
